Meldreth Motorcycle Show 2014

It is a couple of years since I last attended the RDMCC Meldreth Motorcycle Show, and fortunately for the organisers, the weather usually plays ball, as it did again last night. In fact, it was a lovely Summer evening for a ride out on the old Triumph Trident and as we neared the venue, the rumbles from, and density of motorbikes of every kind, increased until there were well over 2,500 of them all gathered at this annual charity event.

The event may be testosterone heavy but the generosity of the biking fraternity is now legendary, with all funds raised on the night going to their chosen charities: Friends of Meldreth Manor (Scope), East Anglian Air Ambulance and Blood Runners Herts & Beds. Plans are already in progress for their 30th anniversary next year and the RDMCC can only be congratulated on the amazing energy and effort they have put in over the years.

With the density of bikes at the event, it is near on impossible to grab any form of prime concourse photograph, so attention was focused on detail. Here is just a taster...

...and a few fun, diverse and in the circumstances, unavoidable reflections ...ok, call them selfies if you so wish!

A great atmosphere last night and good luck to RDMCC with the plans for their 30th year.
